Tracey Hannah RVN
Head Nurse
Tracey was previously a Modern Languages Teacher for sixteen years and decided to retrain as a Veterinary Nurse in 2015, proving you can teach an old dog new tricks! She studied at Abbeydale in Monmouthshire and has gained extensive experience from working in Emergency Pet Hospitals for the last five years. Tracey’s favourite part of the profession is looking after critical care patients and wound management as well as carrying out nurse clinics.
Tracey has three cats, accumulating the younger ones each Christmas for the last two years, who had arrived at her previous employment critically ill both at four weeks old. Millie is her eldest and adopted Tracey about eight years ago, her middle one is Holly, adopted Christmas 2019, with the latest addition little Mali who came to live with her Christmas 2020 and is just a pure delight. Both Holly and Mali despite being near death when they arrived in her care are thriving and leading full, happy and adventurous lives.
