

Harley Hirst RVN
Head Veterinary Nurse
Harley is our Head Veterinary Nurse. She joined our practice in Nov 2019 having qualified as an RVN in 2015 at Harper Adams University. Harley enjoys all aspects of nursing but particularly enjoys working in the operating theatre. When she’s not in work Harley enjoys spending time with her cat Penny, and her Border Terrier, Hector.


Claire Laurence RVN
Claire is a qualified RVN and joined the practice in 2003. She enjoys working with both clients and animals and her particular interest is weight loss and diabetic clinics. Her hobbies include baking, running and walking with her beautiful Cocker Spaniel, Millie.


Jessica Hall
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Jessica joined our team in September 2015 as an animal nursing assistant, before deciding to start her studies as a student veterinary nurse. She also has a degree in medical science and humanities. At home she has a Border Collie named Buddy, a cat named Phoebus, a tortoise named Yellow, a pygmy hedgehog named Hedgie and five chickens. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.


Kate Macmin
Student Veterinary Nurse
Kate has worked with us since September 2017 and is undergoing training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN). She has a particular interested in anaesthesia and orthopaedic surgery and loves working in theatre. Out of work Kate enjoys spending time with her Labrador Retriever, Lola and cat, Sophie. She also enjoys pilates, reading and travel.


Clare Bumford
Patient Care Assistant
Clare has worked for the practice for many years and is a very experienced PCA. She loves getting to know both clients and animals. Clare has her own menagerie of animals at home which occupy most of her time out of work.


Nikita Nicholls
Patient Care Assistant
Nikita has worked with us since 2010. She is an experienced PCA and brings invaluable experience of dealing with tortoises having had close involvement with International Tortoise Association. Outside of work, Nikita enjoys spending time with her family.


Kate Pyrnne
Patient Care Assistant
Kate joined our team in October 2019 as a patient care assistant, and is hoping to start her studies as a student veterinary nurse in the near future. In Kate’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her cat Tobi and family. She also enjoys running and swimming
